Azeem Amir has been visually impaired since birth and plays football professionally for the England and Great Britain blind football team. Playing across the globe, he and the team are aiming to qualify for the next Paralympics. As well as this, he is a TedX speaker and Disability Awareness Advocate & Public.
Whilst Azeem was unable to attend our report launch at the Al Manaar Centre in London, he was kind enough to hop on a Zoom call with AIWG founder, Anisa Mahmood, to share his experiences.
